The DOM takes place three times a year and is the bigges and famous fair in Hamburg / Germany. It is a a tradition in Hamburg and it assures the vistiors to have fun and advanture at the same time. the name DOM goes back to merchants and craftmans, were granted the right in year 1337 to seek shelter in the famous cathedral *Marien-Dom* whenever the weather didnt palyed well.
The Hummelfest is the other name for the event in summer and spring fair where the Dom takes place in November. In all the three faris the occasion takes place for 4 weeks.'Heiligengeistfeld' is the place where this event takes places.
