Alaçatı, is on of the Best Windsurf and Kitesurf Places in European region. Exact destination  is Izmir / Turkey.

Placed on the Cesme Peninsula, this small village Alacati is the perfect surf point in the Turkish Aegean Sea which offers a powerfull wind condition and the opportunity to glide on the turquoise water. 

This place can be reached by plane from any Central European country within three hours. Arrival Airport is "Izmir - Adnan Mendres Airport and the transferral to Alacati only 60 minutes.

This Place is also famous for its Night Life, there are many places where people enjoy there times in the City Center and the Port of Alacati. Alacati is called the "St. Tropez of Turkey" and it´s historical town with many restaurants, bars, shops and clubs is really attracting the people who will not only be on the sea.
This place is also close to other important historical and antcient ruins as Ephesus, Pamukkale (Cotton Castle), Troy ( Troia) and Assos which can be reached very easly.

WIND CONDITIONS :

Beginning mid May untill the end of September the well known “Meltemi” blows from the north of Alacati. In spring and autumn, the dominating wind comes from a southerly direction.Commonly the air current is soften in the morning time and increments during the afternoon.  The “Poiras” blows sideshore from the right. At this point, nice small waves break in the bay. Even on days with potent wind, beginners and intermediates can enjoy moderate wind conditions from the sunup to the sundown.
